About Gregory Lauder-Frost


With a B.A. (Hons) in Modern History, active membership of the Society of Genealogists, London, for 35 years, the Scottish Genealogy Society, Edinburgh, for 31 years, the Borders Family History Society for 18 years (acting editor of their journal 2005-06), Editor of The Scottish Genalogist (2004-2007), acknowledged contributor to Burke's Peerage, and a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries, Scotland, for 23 years, Gregory Lauder-Frost is an established genealogist.


He has spoken extensively and is author of numerous articles and essays on genealogy, including in the Scottish Genealogist, the Borders Family History Society magazine, and the Heraldry Society of Scotland's journal The Double Tressure where he contributed a major article on "Lauder Arms."


He was co-author (with the late William Wallace) of the 1988 book on his great-uncle (Sir) Harry Lauder in the Limelight, and numerous articles on genealogy, many concerned with the history of the ancient family of Lauder, which have appeared in learned genealogical and other magazines.
